algebra

What is the answer to 7y+y? 8y
The reason why it's 8y is because it's 7y plus the y by itself has an invisible 1.

Now how do you 8e+2e-3m?
it would be 10e-3m because the 8e and 2e are like terms and the 3m is not.

What is 6+2a-3?

  1. I really like the way you have set this out Patrick, it makes it easy to understand. Nice work on the Algebra, it's pretty tricky stuff! Looking forward to seeing your last answer explained, I'm guessing it might be 3+2a?
